I welcome you with the greatest love, the love of Jesus Christ. Our great goal here at Union Baptist is to share and show the love of Jesus to all people. We welcome all to come and share with our church family the blessings of experiencing the Lord’s presence in a way that will enrich your life in a magnificent way. Here at Union Baptist, we believe love and acceptance of all people is what forms the foundation of a true church. All of us have had tough moments and experiences traveling. Bad weather, lost luggage, missed flights, unexpected layovers, car trouble etc. But do you remember how great it felt when you finally reached your destination? This sounds a little bit like life. All of us are traveling through this life and right now it's pretty tough. Stay encouraged! The road is presently difficult, but God has a beautiful destination waiting for those who allow Him to lead them. Don't stop, don't turn around, keep pressing until you get there!

A Prayer for You

This is a special prayer for all who stand in need of prayer today. Let us pray to our God who is always there to hear us in our time of need. May your hearts be lifted, and may you be encouraged by the power of prayer to our loving God.

Father,

Oh God how excellent is Your Name in all the earth (Psalm 8:1). Our heart-felt thanks we give to you for every blessing You have given to us. We thank you for this day and for supplying all of our needs (Phil 4:19). May Your continued presence comfort us in this great hour of tribulation. Speak to our hearts if there is loneliness. Refocus our minds if they drift away from the promises of Your word. Strengthen us with Your Spirit so that we will be brave and not fearful (Eph 3:16). Help us to remember that we never walk alone, because You are always with us (Matt 28:20). Forgive us for our moments of weakness, as we struggle with the uncertainties of today. In an ever-changing world, we look to You the unchanging Lord of heaven and earth (Mal 3:6). In Jesus' Name we pray. Amen. May God bless and keep each of you!
